What's Cigar ? Fun, or not

Tobacco or cigars imported before the embargo — called Pre-Castro if imported before 1959; Pre-Embargo before 1962 — can still be legally sold in the United States. But they're a rare and pricey find, Bettridge says. Tobacco consumers are no different. Based on “field surveys” that it conducts, CAO International is finding that there is indeed more of a want/need for scarce tobaccos. Tobacco is its own best filter, so a cigar becomes somewhat stronger and more pungent near the end. To some people this is the best part; again the choice is personal.

Again, it is far easier thing to cast as one side then trying to cast something two sided. Look at this drawing and imagine a cigar. Again, there is no rule that says you should or should not smoke a certain sized cigar because of who you are and/or your size. Therefore, get to know the various sizes and discover which one is right for you. Again this one is packed to the gills with tobacco giving it a slow cool burn. The construction is amazing.

Known by cigar aficionados as cigar “marriage,” storing more than one blend of cigar together can change the flavor of both types of cigars. It is well known that cigars absorb aromas from the environment that they are stored in, and other cigars are no exception to this rule. Known as Mayor Barry's Summer Youth Program, it's really a national program funded by Labor with some city money thrown in. The only thing the Mayor gives the program is his name.

Cuban cigar rollers are notorious as being the most skilled rollers in the world. Cuban cigars were great cigars because of the way they were rolled and manufactured. The quality used to be unsurpassed.

Moldy cigars should be thrown away. Be sure you do not confuse mold with plume. Mold usually indicates a humidor is too warm or has excessive levels of humidity.
